Privacy Policy

This is a short, plain-English privacy policy for Nutrogine. We collect as little data as we can get away with.

What we collect

If you join the waitlist: just your email address, plus the page where you signed up (so we can tell which pages convert) and the timestamp.

If you only browse the site: we use Google Analytics 4 to count page views and understand which pages people read. GA4 sets two first-party cookies (_ga, _ga_<ID>) to recognise return visits within a session. It records the page URL, the page title, your approximate city (derived from a truncated IP — Google does not store the full IP), the referring page, your device type, and UTM parameters if you arrived from a campaign link. We never see anything that identifies you personally.

That's it. No accounts, no payment info, no advertising pixels, no remarketing tags, no cross-site tracking.

How we use your email

  • Send a confirmation when you join the waitlist (you have to click a link to confirm — double opt-in)
  • Send a one-time welcome email
  • Send roughly one update per month from Alec Zakhary about the build
  • Send one final email when the Nutrogine app launches

That's all we'll ever send you. No daily newsletters, no promotional partner emails, no surprise sales.

Where your email lives

Your email is stored with Resend, a transactional email provider based in the US (SOC 2 compliant). We use Resend's Audience feature to manage the waitlist. Resend processes data on our behalf as a sub-processor.

We do not share, sell, or rent your email to anyone else, ever.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

If you live in the EU, UK, or California — and to be honest, even if you don't — you have the right to:

  • Unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email we send
  • Request deletion of your email — reply to any of our emails saying "delete me"
  • Request a copy of any data we have on you — same way
  • Object to any processing
  • Lodge a complaint with your data protection authority if you think we've messed up

We process all requests within 30 days. There is no form to fill out — just email us.

Cookies

See the Cookies Policy page. Short version: Google Analytics sets two first-party analytics cookies, and that's all. No advertising or remarketing cookies.

If you would rather not be counted, you can install the official Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or block GA in your browser's privacy settings — the site will still work normally.

Children

Nutrogine is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe we have, please email us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change this policy (e.g. add a new sub-processor or change what we send), we'll email everyone on the waitlist before the change takes effect. Cosmetic changes (typos, clarifications) won't trigger an email.
